Galentine’s Dinner Party

My girlfriends & I use just about any excuse to get together, especially when it comes to holidays. We have an annual friendsgiving, Christmas PJ exchange, 4th of July parties, etc. This year, I decided to host our first ever Galentine’s dinner party with the help of my lovely dates, and the night was nothing short of adorable! Pink, red, & gold everything; hearts everywhere, candies, chocolate, carbs (a lot of them) flowers, champagne — everything girls need! I hope that if you’re hosting a Galentine’s Party this year, or any other kind of party for that matter, you can use this blog for inspiration!

Almost all our decor was from this adorable party supply store in Long Beach called Wild Child Party & Supply. Everything in their store is SO CUTE. I never knew it was possible to be so obsessed with paper plates & cups! Their decor seriously makes me want to host a party once a week just so I can use everything they sell!😂  The balloon bar they have is next level. They offer all types of colors, shapes, letters, sizes, etc.  Everyone in the shop, including the owner, were SO friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough! I will definitely be using their products for any & every party I plan in the future, and you absolutely should too!

Depending on the occasion, the dinner situation with our parties can vary. Sometimes it’s potluck-styled full course meals, while other times, it’s just appetizers. For this party in particular, we decided it would be easiest to just order catering. We got Woodranch Boneless BBQ Chicken Breast, Mac N Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Salad, and of course, their deeeeelicous rolls. I don’t even want to talk about the amount of carbs we consumed but its a girl’s night! So who cares, right?😂

Serving & cleaning was way easier than our usual potluck style situation, especially given that the tableware we used was disposable.

Each person brought a dessert or drink to share. So we had a pink moscato champagne, a champagne cocktail, & of course, wine!

In addition to eating the candy decor that was on every table, Allison brought these yummy homemade strawberry, jello-filled cupcakes. Natalie brought the best chocolate + M&M pretzels that I was too busy eating to grab a photo of!

My dress was one I saw on a blog for Valentine’s Day outfits & loved it! I snagged online just a few days before the party. It was such a fun piece and perfect for the occasion!
