I am just DAYS away from tying the knot & I cannot believe it! I wanted to blog my bridal shower since the day it happened, but things have been SO crazy busy. I made a deadline to do it before the big day got here — now I’m 3 days out… no time like the present, right!? 😉
I can’t even begin to explain what an absolute DREAM this day was. I honestly have never felt such an outpouring of love and support all at once like I did at my bridal shower. I am a total extrovert and really enjoy being around big groups of people. That being said, this day overwhelmed me in so many ways! I think I was just feeling SO many emotions… on top of the pressure & honor that everyone is here for YOU, to celebrate you, the gifts, the games — its all about YOU (& your fiancé of course 😉 ) & that is just a lot to take in! Honestly, more than anything, it’s humbling!
My sister called me months before my bridal shower was ever even being planned and was like,
“I HAVE THE PERFECT THEME FOR YOUR BRIDAL SHOWER!”. 😂 She went on to explain she wanted to make it a travel-themed tea party, “Traveling from Ms. to Mrs.” I was so intrigued cause I had never heard of anything like that& I absolutely loved the idea! She, my mom & my maid of honor, Carley, made the most beautiful day, and literally, the most beautiful bridal shower I’ve ever been to! Every single person was in a big tea party hat & everything was travel themed – from the food being “in flight snacks”, to the gift table being an area for people to drop their “luggage”. There were even photos on every table of all the places Zack and I have traveled so far! It was truly SO creative & well thought out. It such a beautiful, special day for me. I was so honored by all that was done for me & will remember it forever!
My favorite people in all the world!
